Excerpt from the jury’s report:
"The project proposes a spatially defining building around a large inner courtyard is raised to the west towards Hannah-Arendt-Park and provides a good connection between the square and the outdoor areas of the school.

From an urban planning perspective, the building configuration characterizes a clear edge to the north-east with an overlap to site D14 and a well-proportioned extension of the exterior spaces towards Hannah-Arendt-Park. The accessibility to open spaces on all levels is well regarded. The location of the entrances is coherent and functional.

The compactly situated sports rooms under the southern wing of the building are a good solution."
