Reconstruction and extension of the Vienna Museum on Karlsplatz, urban planning and landscaping

Competition

The object of the competition was the reconstruction and extension of the Vienna Museum on Karlsplatz and its urban integration including urban planning consideration of the neighboring „Winterthur Building“. Today, the existing Vienna Museum has about 6,900 m² of usable floor area. After the completion of the project, the Vienna Museum will have about 12,000 m² of usable floor area.
